New strategies give birth to advanced consumerism. The journey to the end of the soul has been postponed as we travel on high-speed Internet connections towards a futuristic mindset that abandons the body like road kill on old-fashioned pave ways.Medias are converging while family units are disintegrating. The old system is not good enough anymore as communicating with parents is replaced with face book exposes that reveal what’s harboring in our children’s psyche. The way we relate to each other is being altered by expert consortiums as industry leaders are invading our living rooms with clever marketing schemes to monopolies our activities and to benefit their economic profile. Tomorrows brand is today’s demographic research as we are reduced to be a fish in the pond of future markets hand fed daily with needs and wants.
What is green today will still be tomorrows garbage as trends come and go like propaganda for the starved of meaning and purpose. My Space is just that my space but what about our space and our place in time. Awakening means to change habits on all levels not just switching from teak to bamboo or from junk food to designer vegetables.
The green Awakening means that we are willing to find our fulfillment outside of the consumable and inside a reactivated world that is satisfied with breathing pure air and looking at nature as it was intended to be a wild and untamed and free to express it self world unbridled by human dogma and driven to sustain its beauty and balance.
Harmony is only possible with nature not outside of it after all we are also a part of it.
